About Dr. Lino Diaz, DPT

Dr. Lino Diaz is a skilled and dedicated physical therapist on our Wesley Chapel team. He tailors rehabilitation to support both physical and emotional recovery across a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

He holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Health Sciences from the University of South Florida. His clinical experience spans neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic and oncological rehabilitation, and he has worked with patients recovering from stroke, vertigo, concussion, back pain, sports injuries and surgery, using current research and techniques.

Dr. Diaz is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS), helping stroke patients regain independence and quality of life. He uses the McKenzie Method (MDT) for back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal problems, with an emphasis on active patient participation, and he is an AIB Vertigo and Concussion Specialist who treats dizziness, vertigo and concussion symptoms to restore balance and stability.

Outside the clinic, he conducts research and volunteers at the NSU Pro-Bono Health Clinic, providing free physical therapy to underserved patients. He also supports athletes at events such as the Disney Marathon, helping them compete safely, recover and prevent injuries.

His goal is to relieve pain, prevent future problems and improve mobility, strength, balance and function, with personalized treatment plans for injury, surgery and chronic conditions. An APTA member and CPR certified, he stays current on research and new treatments so patients can feel, move and live better.
